Marking Boxes and Bags is Easier with Carton Coders

Posted by Matt Martin

Durable Technologies offers contact carton and case coders designed for marking on corrugated boxes, bag coding or web printing. Our roller coders are ideal for date coding, batch coding and product identification on both porous and non-porous substrates. Our carton coding system incorporates our interchangeable Pack-Mark® rubber ribbed type and Porelon® Ink Rolls to offer a reliable coding system that isn't reliant on a liquid ink reservoir and can be oriented in any position. They are available in two basic configurations - indexing (single print then reset) or non-indexing (continuous print.)

There are four types of carton coders, each of which is designed to meet a specific type of need:

carton coders

Carton Coders - Carton coders are designed for marking on corrugated boxes, bag coding, or web printing. Roller coders are ideal for date coding, batch coding, and product identification.

hand held roller coderHand Held Roller Coders - Much like the carton coders, these are designed to be hand held and are ideal for date coding, batch coding and product identification on porous and non-porous substrates.

roll codersRoller Coders for Non-Porous Applications - These roller coders use quick drying ink and are designed for use on non-porous surfaces such as plastic, metal, glass, and most high gloss or varnished cartons.

tray codersTray Coders - Designed to be used on a conveyor system, these coders can handle line speeds of up to 280 feet per minute and print within 1/2” of the bottom of your tray, case or carton.
