Numbering and Lettering Impact Presses
Durable Technologies' numbering and lettering press is a robust solution for many basic marking situations:
Ideal for low volume stamping requirements where the information to be indented is variable
- Perfect for stamping a variety of tags, plates, keys and other flat parts
- Stamp aluminum, brass and steel parts (can stamp up to 1/8" tall characters into stainless steel)
- The dials are made of high grade tool steel, scientifically hardened and tempered
- Standard dials are engraved with 42 characters
- Character wheels are carefully engraved and make clear cut impressions of uniform depth
- Available character sizes: 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16” (1/8" max. into stainless steel)
- Table size is 6" x 8-1/2"
- Maximum plate size is 5-3/4" wide by unlimited height
- Maximum stamping distance from the top of the plate is 4"
- Maximum part thickness is 1/8" (using standard 3-finger part clamp)
- Maximum part thickness (without 3-finger clamp) is 3/8"
- Different character size dials are interchangeable, but each character size requires a different spacing rack
- Approximately 25-30 lbs. of applied physical force is required to achieve 300 lbs. of stamping force
- Approximate shipping weight is 50 lbs.
