ABS Tool & Machining located in Rockford, IL manufactures a variety of tools including inspection and test blocks.  When they needed a hand stamp that would imprint the words 'Made in the USA' into a variety of hard materials they asked around and were referred to Durable Technologies.

"One of our partners recommended Durable to us" said Bob Renwick, owner of ABS Tool & Machining, "We were told that they made the best quality steel hand stamps and so far we believe that to be the case".

ABS purchased 3/32" sharp face character steel hand stamps with the text 'Made in the USA' to mark different types of parts including micro rise adjustable V-blocks for inspection and testing in the ship building industry.  These V- blocks are also used for set up in mills to steady parts to help reduce chatter.

Aluminum, Cast iron, and 4140 A2 and D2 steel are a few of the materials marked using the Durable Technologies hand stamps.

"Durable gave us a fair price but the service is what really stood out to us.  We received our order earlier than we expected it - we sure appreciate a vendor that over delivers!"

Durable Technologies makes all of their hand stamps using cold forged steel to provide extra-long service life. Made from a special grade of tool steel, these hand stamps resist spalling and mushrooming.
