Metal & Plastic Marking

#652 INK FOR HARD-TO-MARK OILY SURFACES

• Surfaces: Metal surfaces and parts, polyethylene surfaces, cloth, wood (raw and coated), rubber and foil
• Drying Time: 15-20 seconds
• Characteristics: Heavy, waterproof, fade resistant ink that is excellent for hard to mark surfaces, particularly oil coated drums or other metals and plastics which may be covered by a light oily residue.
• Colors: Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Purple, Red, White and Yellow
• Suggested Application: Natural rubber hand stamp with opaque pad.

#6020 COOLANT RESISTANT INK

• Surfaces: Stainless steel and other metals
• Drying Time: 15 seconds
• Characteristics: AERO #6020 displays excellent adhesion on clean metal and cast iron. Because of its coolant resistant qualities, it performs well on engine parts.
• Colors: Black, Blue, Gray, Red and White
• Suggested Application: Natural rubber hand stamp with opaque pad.

#141 INK - IDEAL FOR INSPECTORS

• Surfaces: Metal, plastic, foil, packaging film, varnish coated paper, mylar, and most any other non-porous surface.
• Drying Time: 2-4 minutes
• Characteristics: AERO #141 is a waterproof ink with excellent adhesion. Because of the slow drying time, the ink remains moist on a pad for a longer period of time. It is especially good for inspectors’ pads and is suitable for self-inkers.
• It meets the U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for use on food packaging.
• Colors: Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Purple, Red, Silver, White and Yellow
• Suggested Application: Natural rubber stamp with cloth covered felt or opaque pad.

#1250 INK - ALL PURPOSE FOR NON-POROUS SURFACES

• Surfaces: Metal, plastic, foil, packaging film, varnish coated paper, mylar, photographs (front and back), and most any other non-porous surface.
• Drying Time: 10-15 seconds
• Characteristics: AERO #1250 is the ink specifically formulated for use on the Mark II Stamp Pad. It is an excellent all purpose ink, which is waterproof and maintains very good adhesion on resin coated photographic paper as well as both mylar and chrome coated labels. It meets the U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for use on food packaging and conforms to Government Spec. TT-1-1795A, Type I and Government Spec. AA-208, Type I. Use of the Mark II Stamp Pad is highly recommended.
• Colors: Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Red*, Silver, White and Yellow
• Suggested Application: Natural rubber stamp with Mark II.

#245 INK - ALL PURPOSE FOR NON-POROUS SURFACES

• Surfaces: Metal, plastic, foil, packaging film, varnish coated paper, mylar, and most any other non-porous surface.
• Drying Time: 3-5 seconds
• Characteristics: A very fast drying ink with excellent adhesion, which is especially effective on all types of cellophane.AERO #245 makes a sharp, rub resistant impression and is good for production line work because of its quick drying characteristics and ability to adhere to a variety of materials. It meets the U.S. Department guidelines for use on food packaging.
• Colors: Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Purple and Red
• Suggested Application: Natural rubber stamp with Mark II, opaque or stone pad.

Heavy Duty, Solvent Resistant High Temperature Inks

TWO-PART EPOXY INK

• Surfaces: Ceramics, phenolics, polyesters, melamine, silicones, ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Drying Time: Dries to handle within 6-8 hours. Curing time can be shortened by adding heat. 4-7 days are required for maximum adhesion and chemical resistance. Requires addition of catalyst immediately prior to use.
• Characteristics: A two component epoxy ink developed to be the most permanent ink available to mark on a wide range of difficult to mark substrates. TWO-PART EPOXY INK is the most resistant ink available to solvents, chemicals and hydrocarbons and will withstand temperatures in excess of 600 degrees Fahrenheit. It is the only ink which meets Government Spec. A-A-56032 (formerly MIL-43553)
• Colors: Black and White (Available in 1/2 oz. packets and quarts only.)
• Suggested Application: Offset and direct marking machines or rubber stamp by spreading ink out into a small thin film with a brayer on an inkplate or glass.

#6459 ONE-PART EPOXY INK

• Surfaces: Metal, plastic, all non-porous surfaces
• Drying Time: 10 seconds to touch. Becomes fairly permanent within 4 hours.
• Characteristics: AERO #6459 is a one-part epoxy ink, but DOES NOT meet Government Spec. A-A-56032. It does resist most solvents and degreasers and is made with true epoxy resin.
• Colors: Black, Blue, Brown, Gray, Green, Orange, Red, Violet, White and Yellow
• Suggested Application: Roller coder, semi-flexo printer or natural rubber hand stamp with MARK II, Opaque or stone pad. Stone pads should be used only with dye colors.

Paper Marking

• Surfaces: Paper, corrugated, Kraft paper, clay coated paper and labels.
• Drying Time: Very fast - depending on the absorbency of the material being printed.
• Characteristics: This heavier water soluble ink stays wet in a selk-inker or stamp pad and makes sharp, clear impressions which dry instantly through absorption. AERO #5127 will not affect polymer dyes and it meets the U.S.
• Department of Agriculture guidelines for use on food packaging.
• Colors: Over 24 colors available
• Suggested Application: Self-inker, hand stamp with foam or cloth covered felt pad.

Wood or Concrete

• Surfaces: Lumber and other dry wood; also good for concrete
• Drying Time: 2 minutes
• Characteristics: This slow drying ink provides a good fade and water resistant imprint and meets Government Specs.
• AA-208, Types I, II and IV and TT-1-1795A, Types I and II.
• Colors: Black and White
• Suggested Application: Stencil roller or rubber stamp with Opaque or foam pad.

Stencil Marking

• Surfaces: All porous and non-porous surfaces
• Drying Time: 15 seconds
• Characteristics: AERO #6554 is a good all-purpose stencil ink
• Colors: Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Red, White and Yellow
• Suggested Application: Foam pad and rubber stencil roller.
